Anthony Travis
Anthony Travis is a freelance Voluntary Sector consultant with a special interest
in Social Needs Transport. He specialises in Project Development, Planning,
Funding & Grant
Applications and Communications (design & development).
He has over 25 years of experience, gained in a variety of roles including senior management, in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors. He has worked in and for transport, disability, health and arts organisations. He has also served on Management Committees of both local and national organisations, so has experience of both facets of Voluntary Sector Management.
Anthony has designed and managed projects for voluntary organisations and local authorities, as well as at national level for the Department of Health and the Department of Trade & Industry.
He has direct experience of designing and managing consultation and feasibility studies for both voluntary and statutory organisations.
He has provided a variety of consultancy, training & development services relating to transport and disability issues, developed and written major grant applications, as well designed and written a variety of printed and electronically-distributed publications.
Stephen Travis
Stephen is a freelance
Voluntary Sector consultant with a special interest in Social Needs Transport.
He specialises in Project Development and Business Planning, Scheme Audits,
Fleet Procurement & Management,
Staff Selection and Recruitment, Training Coordination, Management Committee
development, and hands-on support for individual projects.
He has over 22 years of experience in the transport industry, gained in a variety of roles from fleet maintenance to senior management, in both the voluntary & statutory sectors.
Stephen has wide experience of developing and negotiating innovative partnerships and working relationships between stakeholders in both the voluntary and statutory sectors.
Prior to establishing his business and relocating to the North West of England he worked for Kensington & Chelsea (now Westway) Community Transport. Under his tenure, the scheme developed from being a purely volunteer-run project to become one of London’s largest and most successful CT schemes.
